When I met Chris and Karina I just knew that we were going to be friends. Their love of family really struck a cord with me. Actually I found myself watching their interaction more than my usual talk, talk, talk through our consultation. I love the way that they talked with each other. Karina tells their happenings as stories with crisp descriptions, many tones and facial descriptions. Chris is stoic in his demeanor with a silent grip never far from his lips. A grin that Karina never misses. Their love is vibrant. Enticing. I wanted to be their friends and if I was lucky their photographer.
I guess I was lucky. We headed to San Clemente, one of my favorite cities, to shoot their engagement session. San Clemente is even more special to Chris and Karina. Chris proposed there. Karania’s family lives there. It’s what we call Their Beach!
