Here is a couple that I just can’t get enough of!! It’s hard to think of where to begin… I met both Elise and Phil (or their families, I should say.) growing up at my home Church of Bethany Bible Fellowship. And I can honestly say their love for each other has developed over the years in nothing short of a story book romance. Elise is vibrant, creative, bubbly, an in-depth listener, so positive and super encouraging. Spending 10 minutes with her and you’re left feeling enthused on top of so encouraged you could take on any one of your life goals! Elise is Phil’s biggest fan. Phil is compassionate, incredibly witty, adventurous, selfless, and quite the problem solver. I once watched him craft a shelter using one rope, one extremely large tarp, the side of a parked bus and scrap that he found and dragged back himself. Sometime either right before midnight or right after midnight in Mexico…. in the rain. And I do mean Rain. He stood with his hands straight above his head holding the “other side” of the tarp so that others could be and stay dry. He did this all without a jacket because he had given it away to another who didn’t have a jacket. Here is the kicker… after sometime I looked back at him thinking: “How much more could this guy take?”. Phil just looked at me and smiled. Phil would do anything for Elise. They both make me want to be better!!
Its because of their individual qualities and their passionate love for the Lord, that make Phil and Elise love each other like no other. I couldn’t be more stoked to capture their romance on film.
For Phil and Elise’s totally rad engagement session we started off at Mile Square Park, a local favorite of theirs. And then headed to Newport Beach for some paddle-board fun-ness!! That’s what I said… paddle-board.
Here are just a few of my favorites.
