On hot and balmy Friday afternoon I met the Storey’s for their fun, fun, fun family portrait session. The location was downtown Huntington Beach. At my favorite and frequented Starbucks I met Scott, Ann, Amanda and Erik (newlyweds) Tim, Phil, and Rebekah. As well as their cousin Peter who insisted on not being photographed. He’s good. I tried to get a full body shot and it was a no go. Uh, did I say it was hot? No fear because Scott was armed with cold water bottles for all. Et moi osi! The light was perfect (a defiant high five.) and everyone’s spirits were high (double high five!) as we braved the crowed streets for the perfect family shot.
I couldn’t help but be in awe of the deep heartfelt connection between siblings! Everyone was playing and joking around with each other that my heart just melt. Our laughter and excitement seem to catch the eye of more than one passer by. And in the essence of Bryan Reagan this really is a true story. To check out the full days adventure click here.

This one is my favorite shot of the day

We stopped off at this local fountain to seek refuge from the heat. After a short while everyone started to get used to me holding a big lens in their face. It’s a little awkward, I can relate. And look…what a sweet moment between Mom and Dad!

Being a big fan of texture, I couldn’t resist getting a close up of everyone with this is sweet back drop.
